The grade 12 class is holding a fundraiser selling coffee from Drumheller. Parents that have had it are saying it’s really good and some of them that’s all they’ll buy now. The Rural Health Professions Action Plan (RhPAP) is excited to invite your students to the upcoming How Do I Get There? session for the 2025/2026 school year. RhPAP hosts this FREE webinar series targeted to rural high school students and others who are contemplating a healthcare career in rural Alberta. Guests can include representatives from post-secondary institutions that offer healthcare programs, current students in those programs and healthcare professionals in that particular health profession. FUNDRAISING BAKE SALE LOOKING FOR DONATIONS!
The leadership class at Duchess School is hosting a bake sale on January 27th, and we are looking for donations! These donations are limited to cookies, cupcakes, brownies, squares, donuts, and pie. Grasslands Weather Update #2 – Rural Buses Cancelled

Due to rapidly changing weather conditions this afternoon, all rural bus routes have been cancelled.

*City of Brooks buses will continue within city limits only
*The Walking School Bus is cancelled for this afternoon
*Students who remain at school are safe and supervised by staff

For rural students who cannot be picked up, Grasslands is activating our Emergency Billet Protocol. Students will only be released to their identified emergency billet contact.

Please contact your emergency billet as soon as possible to confirm arrangements. School staff will remain on site after dismissal to support students and families as needed.

Youth Connections' Kitchen Quest program, taking place next week. This program is designed for students aged 11 to 17 who wish to enhance their cooking skills.

We are sending home progress reports today for students in Grades 10–12 only.
Full report cards for all grades will be sent home at the end of January.
