We’re excited to welcome our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten families as we get ready for the 2026–2027 school year!
📚 Pre-K & Kindergarten classes begin the week of September 8 across Grasslands Public Schools.
👋 Orientation takes place the week of August 31, and teachers will be reaching out to families with details.
A few reminders for families:
*Pre-K families: If you haven’t completed your registration package, please check your email. Families who have previously inquired about Pre-K can also expect a phone call this week.
*Kindergarten families: There’s still time to register your child online.
*School supply and calendar information can be found on your school website, with additional Pre-K information available at orientation.

I'm thrilled to announce that The Duchess Rock Bands: TV Cranium, Uncle Jack, and Liquid Chicken will be performing at the Duchess Hall tonight! The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.; the music will begin at 7 p.m.
We hope to see many familiar faces for the music spectacle! It should be a night to remember, as always!

Remember, you can purchase parts of the additional section if your child already has supplies that are in good order from a previous year - please save money and the environment.
Order early, and you will be entered in one or more contests!

Grasslands Public Schools will be conducting a Herbicide Program to control weeds on School Grounds and other School Division properties. The program will commence on May 22 and run until May 24, pending weather.
All herbicide applications will be in strict accordance with all regulations established by Alberta Environment, and rates will be at Federally approved label recommendations.
Herbicide warning signs will be placed on all treated Division Property. Please stay off treated areas until signs are removed.
