Masks and Rapid Test Kits

Good Afternoon Families!

Our shipment of rapid test kits (5 tests) and 20 masks for each child was delivered yesterday afternoon. Each student will receive them tomorrow (Thursday, January 20) and should be bringing them home. Sorting and organizing these supplies was a large task. Thank you to Mrs. Brost and Mrs. Adams for working diligently with me to get them into the hands of our students quickly.

The second shipment (1 test kit and 20 masks for each student) will hopefully arrive and be sent home next week. For the second shipment of masks, we will be distributing adult masks for grade 4 to 6 students instead of pediatric-sized masks.

Parents – please be aware of the guidance document for this program – https://open.alberta.ca/.../k-6-at-home-rapid-testing....

Also, here is a link to an instructional video on how to administer a rapid test - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4q7EuAbgE8.

All students are encouraged to wear their masks in common areas, but all grade 4-12 students are required to bring their own masks and wear them at school.

Thank you for your continued support!
